Our Centre host a number of School Athletics Carnivals during the off season
As we are coming up to the first of our school carnivals here is a listing of those that we currently have, if your school isn’t listed please contact your sports organiser and find out what is happening.
If you are able to help out with either the setup (usually around 8.30am, or in the canteen from 9.00am-2.00pm, even if it for only an hour or so) please contact us via email at email@example.com

Our Annual AGM will be conducted after our presentation on the 28th April 2019
All parents are welcome are encouraged to attend as we will be passing our new constitution.
All committee position will become vacant and we are looking for new members to fill positions, if you would like more information on the positions available please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A copy of our new constitution is available below and will be emailed to all members as well as a nomination form for positions on our committee.
We have made the decision to cancel tonight competition early as it is predicted that more heavy storms are forecast for this afternoon.
We have taken this step in the interest of the safety of all athletes, officials and parents.
Athletes who received a perpetual trophy last season are asked to return them to us next Friday night.
We will be finishing competition next Friday night.
The State Track & Field Championships are the culmination of the track & field competition season. This season the Championships will be held on Saturday & Sunday, 16 & 17 March 2019 at SOPAC (Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre). (See Conditions of Entry to SOPAC). Athletes in the age groups U9 through to U17 have progressed through to this event after qualifying from their Regional Championships.

Our Next General Meeting of the Club will be held on Sunday the 17th February 2019 at the Warilla Bowls and Recreation Club starting at 5.30pm
We invite all parents to attend to discuss what is happening at the club
Our Club holds monthly meetings to discuss and plan everything that is Lake Illawarra.
The Next meeting is the 20th January at 5.30pm at the Shellharbour Club

We would like to congratulate all the athletes that competed at our summer carnival on the 6th January, although the day was long we feel that everyone had a great time and enjoyed the extra competition.
A big thank you goes to everyone that helped produce a great carnival, the age managers, starters and timers, our canteen and BBQ workers and everyone else that helpers put on the day

Our regular Friday Night competition returns on the 4th January 2019, just in time for our Summer Carnival on the 6th January 2019.
If you are visiting the area and are registered with any Little Athletics or Senior Athletics Club in Australia you are more then welcome to come and join us for our regular competitions throughout the School Holidays.
